2012 DATES

Sunday morning, June 17 — Saturday morning, June 30

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Discuss intent with Paul Chitlik (email: paul.chitlik@gmail.com)
2. Have a completed script ready to rewrite or a new idea for the “from scratch” section.
3. $200 non-refundable application fee (applies to total charges) to reserve spot by Jan. 1, 2012. (Talk to Paul before making application.)
4. 50% deposit by Jan. 31, 2012.
5. Flight itinerary by Mar. 15, 2012.
6. Balance due by Apr. 30, 2012.
7. Signed liability waiver (to be provided later) also by Apr. 30, 2012 .

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Full refund (minus application fee) on or before Feb. 28, 2012 .
2. Partial refund (minus $1000) on or before  Apr. 30, 2012 .
3. $1000 refund  only  on or before Jun. 10, 2012 . Due to the tight budget, we will not be able to make allowances for illness or emergencies. See your travel agent about travel insurance for that.

Important Note:  Failure to meet any of the deadlines listed above, including submission of a travel itinerary, may be construed as cancellation.

RATES

2012 rates for Paul Chitlik's Rewrite Workshop in France depend on occupancy of a single or double room. Most single rooms, though, have a double bed.

Single: $3500 ($3605 if by PayPal)
Double: $3200 ($3296 if by PayPal)

2012 rates for Nanou Matteson's “From Scratch” workshop:

Single: $3250 ($3347.50 if by PayPal)
Double: $2950 ($3038.50 if by PayPal)

There are six single rooms with a double bed each available. There are four double rooms with single or double beds.

Writers who have attended any of my retreats before get a 10% discount off applicable rate.

RATES COVER

• Tuition for Paul Chitlik's Rewriting Workshop or Nanou Matteson's “From Scratch” Workshop in, Burgundy, France (see Program information)
• 2 weeks at the Lucenay les Aix Nievre chateau.
• Approximately 20 full lunches and dinners plus breakfast fixings every day.
• Pickup and dropoff at Moulins sur Allier train station if required.
• A copy of Paul Chitlik's book, Rewrite, if in the rewrite section.

In the unlikely event that we must cancel the course (due to enrollment or force majeur ), we will refund all money. However, we cannot be held responsible for air fares or other costs incurred by prospective students. Once we have met our minimum interest level, we will inform prospective student of that fact.

HOW TO PAY

Payments may be made by check or money order by arrangement with Nanou Matteson.

PayPal is available, but there is a 3% surcharge (as noted above).
